Checkerboard Blog Hop

I had a hard time to finish this one.
I got a load of beautiful beads from Lisa Lodge of A Grateful Artist - Pine Ridge Treasures for the Checkerboard Blog Hop.
But I didn't take any pictures.
I've had the beads for a long time but I  waited for the last moment and I don't like that, there is always something that goes wrong.
So I finished the necklace yesterday evening/night and the clasp fell and broke.
I tried to make another pair of earrings, one of the  clear glass flower fell and broke.
So here is what I can show you.
And I will try to get a little more organized for the next challenges and hops.

  2. I am not a big fan of doing things at the last moment either but I love the way your pieces have come out - particularly the earrings. They are so chic and can easily go from morning to evening looks

  5. I absolutely LOVE your designs...I would proudly wear those pieces. I would never have thought to brick stitch around the cylinder beads like that...I will have to remember that next time I work with that type of bead. Great Job...You were the victor among your mishaps.

  12. I love these earrings, Karen. Sometimes mishaps happen for a reason. These earrings wouldn't exist if you hadn't broken the Czech flower beads.

Fortunately , after a short moment of irritation Karin managed to fix the clasp
