I've been thinking about this since yesterday, don't get me wrong, I love Paris.
Not always the one in the postcards. There's so much more to it.
Today for example, I needed to buy some headpins to make some charms. I took the subway for half an hour and could evade in my book.
Then I bought my headpins, a lot of them (on the left of the picture) and of course I didn't stop there.
Some (a lot) of chain and hematite beads.
Sur le chemin, je croise,
On the way, I can see,
Tour Saint Jacques |
Place de l'Hotel de Ville |
And within 5mn walking distance, I get to one of my favorite sights of Paris.
I know, that is a little postcard style…
Back in the subway, 30 more minutes of reading.
In two hours, I could read, buy beads, walk along history.
I'm very lucky.
wow, your journey sounds like a dream - reading, beading and historical sightseeing! Those are three of my most favourite things to do too
RépondreSupprimerSo many lovely sights. In the end they all join together in your beautiful work, I think.
RépondreSupprimerLovely post. Beautiful photos, and it reminds me of many of my trips here, reading on the bus, which I love, and admiring the capitol or the lights on State Street as I pass them by.
