Une semaine / One week

Première semaine de vacances.
Une semaine calme, très calme.
Sans Xavier, sans les enfants, sans les chiens.
C'est l'occasion de réfléchir à ce que je veux faire de ce blog, au temps que je peux ou plutôt que j'ai envie de consacrer à mes petites experimentations créatives.
Après trois jours de rangement, de tri dans toutes mes fournitures, comme un travail d'approche, je me suis posée et j'ai collé ces petits cabochons pour broder des boucles d'oreilles.

First week of holidays.
It was a very quiet week.
Xavier, the kids and the dogs were away.
That was the perfect moment to think about this blog, what I want it to be and the time I can or I want  to spend on creative experiments.
After three days of cleaning and sorting my stash, like some preparatory work, I eventually sat and glued those small cabochons to make some embroidered earrings.

Et je les ai oublié.
J'ai pris des pièces plaquées or, alors que je ne travaille jamais le doré. A côté, des pendentifs pendentifs bleus.
Bleu et or, pas mon genre. Et pourtant...
Et si je collais un cabochon brodé, plutôt qu'accrocher une perle? (Et oui il y a un trou derrière le cabochon pour y  suspendre quelque chose)
C'est parti.
Et voilà le résultat.

And I forgot them.
I took  gold plated components, I never work with anything gold. They were next to those blue pendants.
Gold and blue, this is not me. But I went on.
What if I glued an embroidered cabochon instead of hanging some dangling bead ( There is a hole to hang some charm, behind the cabochon)
Here we go.

Entre temps, d'autres expériences, plus ou moins réussies.
Mais l'essentiel pour moi, c'est d'avoir eu ce "et si..." à nouveau.
J'oubliais, j'ai repris mes petits cabochons du début, et j'ai une boucle d'oreille de prête!
Je me mets  de suite à la seconde.

There were some more experiments, not always successful.
But the most important was this "what if...", reappearing.
I was about to forget, I finished one of the earrings I was talking about at the beginning of this post!
I am going to work on the second one now.
