Aigue-marines / Aquamarine

Il m'a suffit de croiser un fil d'aigues-marines pour retrouver l'envie! J'en ai été la première étonnée, couleurs très claires, bleusées, grisées, rien qui ne m'attire habituellement et pourtant.

Je cherchais depuis un mois à faire un bracelet pour une amie, dont les couleurs sont souvent à l'opposée des miennes et bien voilà, il me fallait des aigues-marines. J'ai fait le bracelet, très vite, sans trop réfléchir, quel bonheur!

Et en manipulant ces jolies pierres, j'y ai vu du jaune pour moi, et hier j'en ai fait un deuxième, pour moi, c'était un plus difficile, mais je suis contente du résultat.

C'est comme si un mécanisme s'était réenclenché.

I only needed an aquamarine strand to feel the need to bead. I was quite surprised since those pale, blueish, greyish colors are not the ones I'm usually drawn to, and yet.

I had been looking for inspiration to make a bracelet for a friend's birthday and nothing had come. Her colors are most of the time the ones I wouldn't choose, however this seems to have been less so recently. 

Well, those aquamarines were just perfect, beiges, browns, blues, greys!

I made the bracelet quickly, without thinking too much, and I loved it. I hope she did too. 

It was great to feel that flow coming back. Let's hope it will keep on flowing.

And while I was playing with those pretty beads, I saw some yellow to add for me. 

Yesterday, I made another one, for me, it was a little harder to come up with something satisfying but I'm happy with the result.
