Superstition Blog Hop

Tammy Adams of Paisley Lizard organized a blog hop around superstition for this friday 13.
Not long after I signed up, I noticed some beautiful witch beads in Soul Silver's shop. They were hard to get, they never stayed long in the shop, but one day I was lucky. I'm not sure that counts as superstition but it was too beautiful not to use. However to stay in the theme I added thirteen red beads to the necklace.

Tige / Headpin,  Samantha Capeling

Much later, while looking for inspiration, I found this Earthenwood Studio pendant which looked right for the theme. I had some difficulties making this necklace but I quite like it now.

Tige / Headpin,  Nadin Art Glass

And finally a pair of earrings to use some witch charms I had.

And now let's go hop to see the other participants' creations.

  2. I love all three of these pieces. The witch pendant was indeed too beautiful not to use. The Earthenwood necklace really looks the theme, and the earrings are very fun!

  4. Goodness, Karin. You found some lovely focals and turned them into stunning designs. The asymmetry of the 13 red beads in the first necklace really draws the eye up and around the design. The cat focal with the very long pendant dangle is spectacular. Great movement and tension in that necklace. The witches flying on brooms earrings are a perfect finish. Thanks so much for joining the hop.
