Un nouveau défi de Lisa Lodge de A Grateful Artist-Pine Ridge Treasures.
Un mélange de pierres (jaspe) et perles des verres nacrées.
Je crois que je n'avais jamais mélangé ces matières.
J'ai longtemps pensé que j'allais faire une broderie , car c'est ce que je fais lorsque justement je ne sais pas quoi faire et puis l'idée du Free Form Peyote s'est imposée.
Voilà une technique qui m'attire depuis longtemps, que j'ai essayé une fois mais c'est intimidant car justement comme son nom l'indique, elle est libre.
J'ai acheté un livre, car j'ai toujours besoin d'un support,  Explorations in Freeform Peyote Beading de Karen Williams et je me suis lancée.
C'est magique! Tout est possible.
Mais avec de l'entraînement, beaucoup d'entraînement pour réussir une pièce, mais en attendant c'est beaucoup de plaisir.
Voici donc mon premier essai.

A mix of stones (jasper) and glass beads.
I think I had never used both in a piece.
For a long time I thought I would make some bead embroidery as it is my go to when I'm confused about what to do but then the idea of Free Form Peyote imposed itself. 
This is something I've wanted to try for a long time but I found it intimidating because it is free.
I bought a book, I need that to reassure me, Explorations in Freeform Peyote Beading by Karen Williams and I got started.
It's magical! Everything is possible.
But with a lot of training to complete something with unity, anyway it was a lot of fun.
So here is my first try.

Ce qui est sûr, c'est que c'est difficile à photographier.
Et puis une paire de boucles d'oreilles pour l'accompagner.

The problem is to take good pictures of it.
And a pair of earrings to match.

Et il me reste encore tout ça, pour plus tard…

And I have all this left over over for later…
